태권도원 건설턴키 프로젝트
태권도의 정신과 전통성을 담은 복합 문화공간 태권도원의 건설 입찰을 위한 홍보물 편집디자인 프로젝트입니다. 입찰 보고서와 별도로, 브로슈어 형식의 홍보물을 기획·디자인했습니다.
이전 무주군 태권도공원 유치 홍보물 작업을 통해 프로젝트의 배경과 맥락을 깊이 이해한 상태에서 진행된 작업으로, 태권도원의 브랜드 개념과 각 권역의 공간 스토리를 보다 밀도 있게 시각화할 수 있었습니다.
태권도원은 Body·Mind·Spirit 세 권역으로 구성되며, 삼태극을 형상화한 태극 아레나, 자연과 어우러진 수련의 장, 한국 전통건축을 재현한 태권전·명인관 등 각 공간의 개념을 브로슈어 형식으로 풀어냈습니다. 표지는 태권도원 부지와 건축물을 붓으로 표현한 일러스트레이션을 배경으로, 캘리그래퍼 강병인의 캘리그래피를 더해 한국적 정서와 힘 있는 필력을 담아냈습니다. Hahnemühle German Etching 용지에 인쇄해 화선지 특유의 질감까지 살렸습니다.

Taekwondowon Construction Turnkey Project
A brochure design project for the construction bid of Taekwondowon, a large-scale cultural complex dedicated to the spirit and tradition of Taekwondo. Designed separately from the formal bid report, the promotional brochure communicates the project’s vision in a more engaging and accessible format.
Having previously worked on the Muju-gun promotional materials for the Taekwondo Park bid, the project’s background and concept were already well understood — allowing for a more considered and layered visual approach to storytelling across the Body, Mind, and Spirit zones. The cover features a brush-painted illustration of the Taekwondowon site and its architecture, paired with calligraphy by renowned Korean calligrapher Kang Byung-in — adding weight, energy, and a distinctly Korean sensibility to the overall composition. Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper to evoke the texture of traditional hanji.
